Director of the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry at the Center of Oral and Dental Health, Sheba Medical Center (Tel Hashomer), Israel (since January 2020). Senior Lecturer in Pediatric Dentistry at Tel Aviv University, Israel (since 2005). Specialist in pediatric dentistry with over 40 years of combined clinical, teaching, and research experience.

 

Extensive clinical experience managing pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence including children with special healthcare needs, behavioral management challenges, dental trauma, and systemic diseases requiring modified treatment approaches. Research focuses on pain and anxiety management in children, traumatic dental injuries, oral hygiene techniques for pediatric patients, gingivitis and periodontal disease in children, and infection control protocols in pediatric dental settings.

 

Former Chairman of the Israel Society of Dentistry for Children (2009-2011). Member of the National Board Examination Committee in Pediatric Dentistry, Israel. Serves as reviewer for multiple international peer-reviewed journals in pediatric dentistry. International lecturer presenting at conferences worldwide on pediatric dental topics. Mentor for numerous DMD theses and supervisor of postgraduate research projects. Author of over 80 scientific papers published in leading international pediatric dentistry and orthodontic journals. Recipient of competitive research grants including funding from the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Health, Israel.

 

DMD from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel (1979). Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Tel Aviv University with excellence (1987). Three-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric dentistry at Houston, Texas, United States (1987-1990).
