Oltre 43 anni di esperienza clinica e accademica in ortodonzia. Laureato in Medicina (1981), seguito da studi post-laurea in Odontoiatria e Ortodonzia. Inventore dell'apparecchio Marco Rosa per espansione palatale rapida ancorato sui denti decidui nella dentizione mista, consentendo correzione scheletrica precoce senza toccare i denti permanenti. Pioniere nello sviluppo di protocolli per chiusura dello spazio esteticamente e funzionalmente giustificata nei casi di agenesia. Vincitore del Dewel Memorial Award 2016 dall'American Association of Orthodontists.
Docente internazionale insegnando estensivamente sul trattamento ortodontico precoce, biomeccanica e pianificazione del trattamento interdisciplinare. Professore a Contratto presso l'Università dell'Insubria, Italia. Certificato sia dal European Board of Orthodontics che dall'Italian Board of Orthodontics, massimo livello di diplomi. Membro Onorario dell'Italian Academy of Orthodontists. Ex Presidente dell'Association of Italian Specialists in Orthodontics (ASSO, 1998-2001).
MD (1981). DDS. Specialista in Ortodonzia (D. Orthod). Ha pubblicato estensivamente e tiene regolarmente conferenze su strategie di intervento precoce, tecniche RPE, trattamento del morso incrociato posteriore e anteriore nella dentizione mista, gestione delle discrepanze scheletriche e approcci interdisciplinari orto-perio. Principali interessi di ricerca includono trattamento precoce minimamente invasivo senza estrazione di denti permanenti, soluzioni biomeccaniche per casi impegnativi e stabilità a lungo termine degli interventi precoci.
