Oltre 25 anni di esperienza clinica e accademica trattando casi ortodontici complessi usando biomeccanica guidata da mini-viti. Pioniere nel dimostrare l'espansore palatale rapido assistito da mini-viti (MARPE) per adulti, pubblicando studio MARPE storico in American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJO-DO), estensivamente citato internazionalmente. Ricerca focalizzata su biomeccanica clinica di applicazioni TAD, trattamento senza estrazioni negli adulti, meccanica ortodontica linguale, approcci chirurgia-prima usando TADs, e risposte ossee/suturali a forze ortodontiche. Esperto in distalizzazione di arcata totale, trattamento di denti non erotti e gestione di pattern facciali iperdivergenti.
Selezionato come 2025 Kokich-Shapiro Lecturer e 2025 Nanda Lecturer, onori prestigiosi in ortodonzia. Adjunct Professor presso Department of Orthodontics, University of Pennsylvania (2010-2011, 2016-2019) e Temple University (2010-2011). Visiting Scholar presso Department of Biochemistry, University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (2002-2004) e Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (2010-2011). Autore di numerose pubblicazioni peer-reviewed in riviste ortodontiche leader inclusi multipli numeri di copertina in AJO-DO. Revisore editoriale per AJO-DO, Angle Orthodontist, European Journal of Orthodontics, Progress in Orthodontics, Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research, Journal of Orthodontics, e Korean Journal of Orthodontics.
