Guest editor for thematic dossiers in international dental journals on TMD, orofacial pain, bruxism, and sleep apnea. Recognized expert on different schools of thought regarding bruxism definition, etiology, and treatment, including orofacial pain school identifying it as pathology versus alternative approaches. Published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on TMD, bruxism mechanisms, diagnostic methods, morphological changes from functional appliances, bruxism and condylar position relationships, and sleep disorder management.
