Использование элайнеров для коррекции положения зубов в последние годы значительно расширилось. Однако многие ортодонты утверждают, что элайнеры - это всего лишь инструменты для выравнивания зубов. По мнению лектора, капы являются отличным ортодонтическим инструментом для функционального лечения кранио-мандибулярной системы, включая контроль наклона окклюзионной плоскости, вертикального размера окклюзии и положения нижней челюсти. Во многих отношениях элайнеры могут быть более эффективными, чем MEAW.
