Programma della lezione

Early treatment primarily deal with emerging permanent teeth and facilitate normal skeletal development to avoid subsequent complex orthodontic challenges. Therefore the emphasis at this stage is to alleviate symptoms to pressing issues and clinically the interventions often lack a holistic diagnosis and long-term treatment plan. This lecture hopes to provide a systematic diagnostic approach to help clinicians to decide when and what conditions warrant an early intervention while others are merely futile efforts that will only reduce patient cooperation over an extended period of treatment.

– After this lecture, you will be able to analyze the pros and cons for early treatment.– After this lecture, you will be able to evaluate when and what conditions will be indicative of early treatment.– After this lecture, you will be able to utilize a number of strategies to simplify early treatment and reduce treatment time

Dr. Chris Chang is the founder of Beethoven Orthodontic Center and Newton’s A Inc. in Hsinchu, Taiwan. He received his PhD in Bone Physiology and Certificate in Orthodontics from Indiana University. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and an active member of Angle Society-Midwest. Dr. Chang is the publisher of JDO and has authored and co-authored many orthodontic books, including Orthodontics Vols. 1-6, as well as Words of Wisdom, Jobsology and Trumpology. He is the inventor of OrthoBoneScrews (OBS).
