Oltre 50 anni di esperienza clinica e accademica in biomeccanica craniocervicale e craniomandibolare e gestione del dolore. Fondatore e Direttore di CEDIME (Centro de Estudios de las Disfunciones Músculo Esqueléticas), Santiago, Cile. Ex Direttore del Programma di Dottorato in Fisioterapia (DPT) presso University of Saint Augustine, Emisfero Sud, Sud America e Sud Africa. Ex Direttore Medico e di Riabilitazione Fisica presso Integramédica, Cile.

Autorità internazionale sulla disfunzione ATM avendo sviluppato l'approccio Rocabado ai disturbi craniomandibolari e craniocervicali integrando terapia manuale con trattamento dentale. Membro Onorario dell'American Academy of Orofacial Pain e American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. Membro fondatore e ex Presidente della Chilean Academy of Craniomandibular Disorders and Facial Pain, Brazilian Academy of Craniomandibular and Craniocervical Disorders and Facial Pain, e Iberian Latin American Academy of Head, Neck and Facial Pain. Membro fondatore dell'Italian Craniomandibular and Orofacial Pain Academy.

Laurea in Kinesiologia dall'University of Chile. Dottore in Fisioterapia (DPT) dall'University of Saint Augustine, Florida, USA (2003). Terapista Manuale Ortopedico Certificato (OMT-Chile), formazione specialistica presso Health Institute Atlanta, USA. Membro Onorario dell'Argentinean Association of Physiatry and Kinesiology, Colombian Physical Therapy Association e Chilean Orthodontic Society. Membro dell'American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy e Patrono del Norwegian Manual Therapy Group, Australia. Membro del Comitato Editoriale delle riviste Cranio e Orthopedic and Manual Therapy. Autore di molteplici libri di testo su biomeccanica della testa e del collo, dolore e protocolli di esercizio. Riconosciuto internazionalmente per contributi al trattamento interdisciplinare dei disturbi ATM richiedenti collaborazione tra fisioterapisti e dentisti.

Dr. Roberto Gutiérrez and associates Bioesthetics Dental Clinic is born from Gutiérrez Dental Clinic launched over 50 years ago by Dr.Roberto Gutiérrez C. and his wife Dr. Lya Álvarez in Marcoleta. As the years passed they transmitted their love for the profession on to their 5 children who joined and formed the Gutiérrez Dental Clinic in El Golf neighborhood.

In 2002 Roberto made his own path and began a project in our clinic’s current location, where his main goal was always to give the best he could to his patients. Consequently, he always traveled to multiple courses abroad, until in the year 2009 he begins, under the eyes of the OBI Foundation, to learn the science of Bioesthetics in the United States (Portland, Oregon). For three years he created strong friendships and professional ties, he learned and took a turn in the way he practiced his profession.

He trained his laboratory technicians in this new discipline and began to grow in this new dentistry looking to imitate nature in order to restore the aesthetics and functionality lost in smiles.

This passion for his work was transferred on to his daughters María Jose and María Fernanda, both dentists who intend to follow this path of continuous improvement and service, in order to deliver concrete and quality solutions to people.
