– Factors leading to dysfunction - diagnosis and treatment:
a) in the transversal direction:
- upper jaw expanding and/or lower jaw narrowing
- functional mandibular lateral deviations
- skeletal mandibular lateral deviations.
b) in the sagittal direction:
- mandibular distortions
- mandibular magnification
- decrease in the size of the upper arch
- decrease in the length of the upper arch.
c) in the vertically direction.
- convergent bases of the upper and lower jaw.
