Adjunct Professor di Odontoiatria Restaurativa, University of Parma (2022–2024). Lecturer della Chair of Prosthodontics del Prof. Gastaldi, San Raffaele University of Milan (dal 2017). International guest lecturer presso le Universities of Eluru e Vizag, India (Prosthodontics, 2023–2024) e presso le Universities of Addis Ababa e Makallè, Etiopia (Endodontics).
Coautore di quattro testi: Adhesive Restorations of Root-Filled Teeth (Mannocci F., Cavalli G., Gagliani M., Quintessence International, 2007, tradotto in più lingue); Odontoiatria Restaurativa: Procedure di Trattamento e Prospettive Future (Brenna F., Breschi L., Cavalli G. et al., Elsevier Masson, 2009, tradotto in spagnolo); Restorative Dentistry (Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry, Cavalli G. et al., Elsevier–Mosby, 2011); e Odontoiatria Restaurativa Estetica (Allegri M.A., Ammannato R., Cavalli G. et al., AIC, Quintessence Publishing, 2021). Autore di numerosi articoli peer-reviewed sugli aspetti restaurativi e protesici dei denti trattati endodonticamente e sui nuovi materiali restaurativi estetici.
