Ha creato punteggi di valutazione del rischio clinico per la previsione di malattia peri-implantare e risultati sfavorevoli, consentendo strategie preventive basate sull'evidenza durante gli appuntamenti di manutenzione.
Autorità internazionale sulla manutenzione implantare, avendo presentato a numerose conferenze nazionali e internazionali come relatore principale. Sviluppatore del protocollo di manutenzione MALO CLINIC integrando linee guida cliniche con strumenti epidemiologici per risultati ottimali di pazienti e clinici. Educatore presso MALO CLINIC Education insegnando corsi pratici di manutenzione implantare con approccio clinico meticoloso combinando teoria con formazione pratica.
Laureato in Igiene Orale presso ISAVE (Institute of Higher Education of Alto Ave), Portogallo. Master in Epidemiologia presso Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, Portogallo. Autore e coautore di oltre 50 articoli scientifici, pubblicazioni cliniche e capitoli di libri su riabilitazione orale, implantologia e protocolli di manutenzione implantare. Collaboratore regolare di riviste internazionali peer-reviewed su argomenti inclusa malattia peri-implantare, valutazione del rischio e fattori di successo implantare a lungo termine.
