Over 27 years of clinical experience with focus on maintenance of implant-supported rehabilitations including All-on-4 treatment concept. Developed comprehensive maintenance protocols and epidemiological tools to maximize long-term success of full-arch implant prostheses. Created clinical risk assessment scores for prediction of peri-implant disease and unfavorable outcomes, enabling evidence-based preventive strategies during maintenance appointments.
International authority on implant maintenance, having presented at numerous national and international conferences as keynote speaker. Developer of the MALO CLINIC maintenance protocol integrating clinical guidelines with epidemiological tools for optimal patient and clinician outcomes. Educator at MALO CLINIC Education teaching hands-on implant maintenance courses with meticulous clinical approach combining theory with practical training.
Graduated in Oral Hygiene from ISAVE (Institute of Higher Education of Alto Ave), Portugal. Master's degree in Epidemiology from Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, Portugal.
