Tecnico Dentale Maestro Certificato (MDT) specializzato in scienza del colore dentale, abbinamento delle tonalità e ceramiche estetiche. Ricercatore indipendente e consulente in scienza computazionale del colore per applicazioni dentali. Inventore del sistema di abbinamento delle tonalità eLAB, il primo software in odontoiatria a fornire ricette di miscelazione specifiche per il paziente per materiali ceramici.

Oltre 25 anni di esperienza come tecnico dentale formato in Germania lavorando in Europa, Emirati Arabi Uniti e Australia. Esperto in tutti gli aspetti dell'aspetto del colore dentale da prospettive sia pratiche che scientifiche. Conosciuto per collegare scienza avanzata del colore con applicazioni pratiche di laboratorio dentale per migliorare prevedibilità nelle restaurazioni estetiche.

Membro dell'Oral Design Group (ammesso 2007 dal fondatore Willi Geller) e Bio-Emulation group (ammesso 2012). Membro Editorial Board di German Quintessence of Dental Technology (dal 2011). Docente internazionale dal 2009, avendo tenuto centinaia di corsi e conferenze globalmente su estetica dentale, scienza del colore e materiali ceramici. Sviluppatore del sistema visual_eyes liquid e fluor_eyes flash per fotografia dentale fluorescente. Autore di numerose pubblicazioni inclusi contributi al QDT Yearbook (2009, 2011) e articoli peer-reviewed in riviste di tecnologia dentale.

Formato come Tecnico Dentale in Germania (laureato 1997). Master School a Freiburg, Germania, laureandosi primo della classe e vincendo argento nell'annuale Kanter Award Competition (2004/05), che riconosce i tre migliori studenti Master School della Germania. Formazione avanzata in ceramiche dentali con Masahiro Kuwata a Tokyo, Giappone (2001). PhD in Scienza del Colore dall'University of Leeds, School of Design, sotto Professor Stephen Westland, focalizzandosi su applicazioni di scienza computazionale del colore in odontoiatria. Pubblicazioni recenti includono lavoro sul collegamento tra percezione strumentale e visiva nell'abbinamento delle tonalità dentali pubblicato in riviste peer-reviewed (2024).

Member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and one of the Founding members of Fradeani Education.

A member of the Nobel Biocare Mentor Project.

Lectures nationally and internationally on prosthodontics and implants.

Member of the Italian Society of Prosthetic Dentistry.

Professor and Chairman of the Department of Prosthodontics, Propaedeutics and Dental Materials, Christian-Albrechts University at Kiel, Germany.

In 2011 received the Schweitzer Research Award of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics (GNYAP).

Served as President of the German Society for Prosthetic Dentistry and Biomaterials (DGPro).

In 2020 received the IADR Distinguished Scientist Award for Research in Prosthodontics and Implants.
