Lezione 3.Significance of occlusal plane control in orthodontic treatment
ONLY THE FULL COURSE IS POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE!
The occlusal plane is the most important playground that influences occlusal function and is a factor that controls maxillomandibular growth and development.
In fact, it is known that when the occlusal plane becomes flat, the mandible becomes prognathic mandible (Class III), and when the occlusal plane becomes steep, themandible becomes retrognathic mandible (Class II).
Therefore, in the corrective treatment of malocclusion, it is basically important to correct the mandibular position by controlling the vertical dimension and the occlusal plane. In addition, it is the most important factor in postoperative occlusal stability and support.
