Creatore e sviluppatore della tecnica ortodontica Straight Wire Low Friction in collaborazione con Rocky Mountain Orthodontics (Denver, CO). Direttore del Centro Internazionale di Ortodonzia a Santiago de Compostela.

 

Docente internazionale che insegna corsi su microimpianti, MARPE (espansione rapida palatale assistita da microviti), allineatori e sistemi di trattamento ibridi in Europa e America Latina. Consulente scientifico e clinico per il Governo Spagnolo, Governo della Galizia, Consiglio Dentale Spagnolo e Fondazione Dentale Spagnola. Membro del comitato editoriale di cinque riviste internazionali dentali e ortodontiche.

Membro della European Orthodontic Society (EOS), Società Spagnola di Ortodonzia (SEDO), World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, e membro fondatore di molteplici società ortodontiche spagnole (ONO, AESOR). Autore o coautore di 14 libri di testo dentali e ortodontici, 110 articoli scientifici e 145 presentazioni e poster congressuali.
