Obtained medical license (Approbation) at the University of Münster in 2005 and completed doctoral dissertation (PhD equivalent) in 2007. Worked as research associate and senior physician in the outpatient orthodontic department at the University Hospital Münster from 2005 to 2013. Co-founded a private specialist orthodontic clinic in 2013 and works as a lecturer in biomechanics and continuing education programs.
