Inventore di MSE (Maxillary Skeletal Expander), un espansore palatale rapido assistito da micro-impianti che consente espansione scheletrica non chirurgica negli adulti.

 

Docente internazionale avendo presentato in 37 paesi con oltre 450 presentazioni su correzioni ortopediche, dispositivi di ancoraggio temporaneo, biomeccanica degli aligner e gestione delle vie aeree. Focus di ricerca include analisi di immagini 3D, modellazione a elementi finiti, studi di associazione genome-wide di fenotipi craniofacciali, applicazioni della stampa 3D in ortodonzia e movimento dentale accelerato. Co-Investigatore Principale di AAOF Center Award Grant (2018) su "Standard Characterization of Clear Orthodontic Aligners." Relatore principale al Spanish Society of Aligners (SEDA) Congress e Italian Aligner Society (SIALIGN) Congress (2021).

 

DMD dalla Harvard School of Dental Medicine. MS in Ortodonzia dalla UCLA School of Dentistry. Laurea in Matematica prima dell'odontoiatria. Diplomate dell'American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) dal 2002. Destinatario del Groundbreaking Research Project Grant Award dalla UCLA (2014). Coautore di sei libri di testo. Ha pubblicato estensivamente in riviste peer-reviewed in molteplici discipline. Detiene molteplici brevetti incluse tre invenzioni relative agli aligner e innovazioni nel design dei micro-impianti. Membro attivo dell'American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).
