Programma

The 2-Year Modular Program “Interdisciplinary Dentistry in the Slavicek Concept” in Vienna — the birthplace of modern functional dentistry and gnathology!

The module program consists of 8 consecutive practical courses focused on interdisciplinary treatment and full occlusal rehabilitation based on the concept of the legendary Dr. Slavicek.

Section A (3 modules) — dedicated to diagnostics and interdisciplinary treatment planning
Section B (2 modules) — focused on occlusion: you will learn to work with vertical dimension, model the occlusal plane and the curve of Spee, create sequential disocclusion with canine guidance, perform diagnostic wax-ups, and master esthetic planning of restorations
Section C (3 modules) — dedicated to orthodontic and endodontic preparation protocols for prosthetics, implant placement, and the prosthetic treatment itself.

Course advantages:

– The entire program is taught within the Slavicek concept — one of the most precise, effective, and scientifically proven interdisciplinary treatment approaches
– You are encouraged to bring your own clinical cases to the course, analyze them, return to your clinic to apply the knowledge in practice, and bring your questions to the next module – this way, you immediately implement and reinforce what you’ve learned
– Throughout the course, you’ll receive continuous support: share your progress with instructors and peers, ask questions, and get expert feedback
– The lecturer is the renowned Dr. Gregor Slavicek, with 40 years of clinical experience
– For two years, you’ll study in the same group, building lasting professional and personal connections with colleagues and faculty.

❗❗❗ IMPORTANT NOTE:

– The price for one module is 3,600 €.
– Before paying for the training, each participant signs a contract for the organization of training.
– To participate in the program, you must make an advance payment – 100% of the cost for the 1st module and the 8th module.
– In case of refusal to complete the training, a fine in the amount of the non–refundable cost for the 8th module and full payment for the failed module.
– Payment is made 2 months before the start of each module.

PROGRAM

Section A

The first module is devoted to treatment planning. To do this, you need to clearly identify all the problems in the patient. Attention is paid not only to the dysfunctional component: the patient is examined systematically, and a whole list of possible problems affecting health is created. The purpose of this is to define a global treatment strategy. And only after that you can choose the right tools that will be suitable for the implementation of the plan.

Section A consists of 3 modules and guides you through the necessary steps in systemic diagnosis and therefore to primary therapy using splints.

Module 1 | 08–11.02.2026

– Clinical functional analysis
– Mounting models in the articulator
– Preliminary occlusal analysis
– Analysis of the occlusal and functional component
– Evaluation of diagnostic results
– Treatment planning.

Module 2 | 05–08.03.2026

– Cephalometric analysis
– Condylography
– Advanced occlusal analysis
– Supplementing the list of problems and evaluating the results of diagnostics
– Correction of the treatment plan.

Module 3 | 01–04.06.2026

– Detailed occlusal analysis
– Completion of the list of problems and final evaluation of the diagnostic results, including treatment planning
– Planning of primary treatment, including splint therapy with individual splint modeling and targeted clinical appointment.

Section B

Consists of 2 modules dedicated to final treatment planning and determination of factors that influence occlusion, including its restoration.

Module 4 | 03–06.09.2026

– Interim analysis after primary therapy
– Determination of the therapeutic position, its transfer to the articulator
– Identification of a key functional factor for total and occlusal rehabilitation.

Module 5 | 29.10–01.11.2026

– Final treatment planning including all functional parameters:

- VDO
- Occlusal plane
- Spee curve
- Individual bite concept (consecutive disocclusion with canine dominance according to R.Slavichek)
- Diagnostic wax-up (digital and analog)
- Diagnostic mounting
- Sagittal movements of the condyles
- Incisal guidance
- Aesthetic planning.

Section C

It consists of 3 modules and is fully focused on the final total occlusal rehabilitation.

Module 6 |  21–24.01.2027

– Interdisciplinary orthodontics
– The concept of the denture frame according to S.Sato
– Orthodontic preparation for prosthetics
– Endodontics and implantation in terms of total patient rehabilitation and occlusal functions.

Module 7 | 25–28.03.2027

– Removable and fixed prosthetics in total rehabilitation.

Module 8 | 24–27.06.2027

– Fixed prosthetics
– Minimally invasive technologies
– Intraoral scanning
– Analog and/or digital workflow.
