Creating an Esthetic Pathway
During this 27-hour 3-day course, participants will learn how to prepare anterior teeth for ceramic veneers crowns using a digitally designed aesthetic prototype technique. Tissue management, provisionalization, digital scanning, design, and veneer delivery will be covered, with each participant delivering two ceramic veneers, which will be adhesively delivered during the hands-on sessions.

– Material choices: what to use, when, and where
– Step-by-step Protocol
– Shade matching
– Digital Smile Design
– Diagnostic wax-ups, putty guides, and the esthetic mock-up
– Lab Communication
– Veneer Preparation designs – facial, incisal butt, and lingual wrap
– Super Veneers, 3/4 Crowns, and All-Ceramic Crowns
– What margin/finish line to use in each situation
– Sophisticated veneer provisionals – blueprints for success
– Complex situations – rotated teeth, discolored teeth
– Try-in pastes
– Using resin cements of various shades
– How to select the best cement for the proper indication
– Intaglio surface preparation techniques to improve adhesion
– The Stevenson Stain prevention technique
– Polishing systems
– Occlusal adjustment for chewing pathways.

– Learn how to design a veneer case with the result in mind
– Learn the science and practical application of adhesive cementation
– Learn how to create an ideal mock-up and realistic esthetic buy-in
– Learn how to make hand-sculpted and stent-generated provisionals
– Learn how to perform ideal occlusal adjustments and polishing to prevent chipping
– Learn which preparation is best for specific clinical findings
– Understand the material properties of feldspathic and lithium disilicate ceramics
– When to use which material to prevent or minimize restoration fractures

– How to properly prepare a tooth for a veneer

– How to minimize ceramic fractures by understanding the materials and occlusion
